Wir laden ein in den sauberen Wald!

Wenn jeder von uns mitnehmen würde was er in den Wald bringt, wäre der Anblick von Müll im Wald nicht alltäglich. In Polen wird fast alles im Wald weggeworfen – Hauhaltsmüll, verbrauchte Haushaltsgeräte, Möbel oder Autoreifen.

Trotz regelmäßigen Patrouillen und Waldaufräumen, sowie zahlreichen sozialen Initiativen, lassen sich im Wald Halden von Müll auffinden. Jedes Jahr beseitigen Förster über 100.000 m³ von Müll. Mit soviel Müll könnte man fast eintausend Eisenbahnwaggons füllen!

Welcome to the clean forest!

If everyone of us took their belongings back home, the view of litter would not be an obligatory element of forest walks. In Poland, almost everything is being thrown away in the forest – household litter, used domestic appliances, furniture or tyres.

Even though the forests are regularly patrolled and cleaned by foresters, as well as by various groups out of social initiatives, there can still be found piles of garbage. Every year foresters remove more than 100 thousand m³ of litter. Such an amount could fill almost 1 thousand railway wagons!
